Carl Rohsler is a solicitor advocate and partner at Memery Crystal, a legal services practice in the City of London forming part of RBG plc, focusing on the corporate and commercial needs of technology companies. He specialises in gambling regulation and intellectual property law. Carl was educated in England and obtained an MA at Merton College, Oxford, before professional qualification at the University of Law, Chester. Qualifying as a solicitor in 1995 and solicitor advocate in 2001, Carl has acted for some of the leading gambling companies in the world, advising on many of the most complex regulatory issues, commercial arrangements and disputes in gambling over the last 20 years.
Carl is the author of a number of works on gambling law and practice, including Gambling Act 2005: A Current Law Statute, Current Law Statutes Guide to The National Lotteries Act 2007, and Licensing Law and Practice (2008). He is on the editorial board of Online Gambling Lawyer, and is one of the guest lecturers at the University of Bordeaux, France. Carl acts for a number of the leading remote and bricks-and-mortar gambling organisations in the world, and has been recognised as a leading practitioner by both Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession and The Legal 500.
